Sophia is rather dark haired now, but as a young child, she had lovely reddish/chestnut coloured curls. Hilke had to answer to a lot of outraged women, who decided it was very mean of Mommy to dye the little girl's hair... and Mommy had to defend herself that is was actually Sophia's natural colour...
